I grew up as a competitive athlete, so I don’t just photograph sport, I understand it. The early mornings, the pressure, the split seconds that change everything. I know what it feels like to have your best performance and barely a photo to prove it.

That’s why I shoot the way I do.

Capturing sport in real time gives me the same adrenaline I had when I was competing. I anticipate the turn, the jump, the sprint, the breath before the routine begins. I’m not just documenting action, I’m preserving effort, discipline, and the moments athletes work years for.
